Every Client Matters

Meet Jay

Jay Farrow, Founder

How do I approach a case?

  • First, I get into my opponent’s head by digging into their life and affairs through legal Pre-Suit investigations.
  • Second,  I have found over the course of almost 20 years in the legal profession, that going to court and litigating something publicly rarely serves my clients or the people on the other side. For one, it takes forever. Two, once something is filed, it remains on someone’s permanent, public record. I believe in solving a client’s issue without ever having to file a case.   I prepare an extensive demand letter, complaint and usually have expert reports and opinions to support the case. I work with ex-federal prosecutes, F.B.I. and C.I.A. professional investigators to gain the advantage of information.
  • While I have years of experience as a trial attorney in federal and state courts, litigation should be used as a last resort and, if employed, it should be pursued with uncommon urgency.  No matter what happened to my client, I believe in getting through the situation and on with life as soon as possible.

My PURPOSE in the law:

  • To support clients to find their voice and stand up to the bullies in their life. What does that mean? It means that most of my clients have been ripped off in one fashion or another, taken advantage of by others who are so disconnected they pick profits over integrity. Most of my cases involve the civil prosecution for otherwise criminal behavior and the proverbial David v. Goliath showdown.

My job is a lawyer AND a counselor at law. Most people don’t talk about this part of the work, but when people sit down in my office, many times they break down, they share their most intimate life details, they want answers, they want – no, they crave – a safe space to share what’s really going on with them. I will tell you this about my “job”, when a new client comes in my office, there is only a spilt second before they symbolically let their hair down and share their soul openly. Even when they have a difficult relationship with the truth, the truth starts to come out. To say that you have been ripped off is one thing, but to say how much it hurts on a human level is quite another. Why? Attorney client privilege? Maybe. Although, I think it’s more than that. I think it is because I am so willing to share with them about my own journey, my struggles, to be vulnerable and real.  In my estimation, it is the greatest privilege of the practice of law when a client’s walls come down in an instant and they share with me what happened to them. I honor that.

We believe in meeting you where you are, whatever condition or state that is. Communication is key when you are going through testing times. It may feel as though you have lost a little control of a particular area of your life, and we’re here to help you regain it!

What makes me qualified?

We are mindful lawyers creating the shift in business and litigation from the point of reaction to the advantageous point of anticipation. Where tradition ends, we begin. We create an atmosphere of team driven by a commitment to excellence.
